Alameda Arts is ready to provide you with a variety of online art enrichment projects, art integration based professional development and afterschool program consulting services. We look forward to being able to resume our in-person afterschool, summer camp and professional development programs.
Our mission is to inspire and support the inherent creativity of children of all ages through caring relationships and access to rich and varied media and activities.
We provide an engaging, safe and welcoming space for students in grades K-8. Students arrange their own asynchronous art experiences via hands-on, grade appropriate projects with entertaining video tutorials, written guidelines and optional Zoom sessions in which we play games, tell jokes, share our art and just chat in a relaxed atmosphere.
Our professional development workshops provide art integration experiences with a focus on the use of recycled materials for preschool and elementary school teachers. With a child first focus, Alameda Arts believes that children can learn through the experiences of touching, moving, listening, observing and creating. Our online workshops are set up so that your staff will have an opportunity to immerse themselves in a playful practice of meaningful, process driven art activities.
We are also ready to utilize our extensive experience to help your school set up its own afterschool program. We can serve either as consultants or on campus partners in a 1 year pilot program.
