Alameda Arts follows the AUSD school calendar and will cover all regularly scheduled early dismissals (including 1/2 days) through the last day of school. You may pick up your child at any time before 6 pm, after which a late pick-up fee applies. Part-time enrollment requires a set schedule, which can be adjusted on a seasonal basis as needed. Extra 'drop-in' days are available.
Alameda Arts will not be in session on days that students have no classes: non-student teacher work days, weekends, holidays, school closures, etc. Students may not attend Alameda Arts if they were absent during the school day.

The art lab environment in our classrooms encourages the creative expressions of all children. Students are picked by us directly after the school day has ended. They are provided with a healthy snack and given an array of activity options for the day.
Students in our program have access to varied art enrichment, homework support, special programs, both structured and free play time and opportunities to engage with friends and staff. They are able to choose their own activities and freely move about throughout the afternoon. Our belief in the importance of play is the base of our joyful framework.
We offer 2, 3, 4, & 5 days/week enrollment for students in Grades 1 - 5. Our monthly fees are $275, $375, $475 & $575, prorated in August & June. Alameda Arts provides a 5% discount to all additional siblings. Upon registration, we charge a non-refundable fee of $190. All charges will be automatically billed to your credit/debit card on file.

Participants must be entering grades 1 to 5.
Registration starts on 03/07/2026 and ends on 05/31/2027.
Participants may register at any time during this period.
Thank you for such an amazing after school program! My kids have been to various programs (both here in Alameda and in Maryland, where we lived previously), and Alameda Arts is the first place that they haven't complained about. In fact, there have been times when I've showed up earlier than they were expecting and they say "Awwww" with disappointment because they were enjoying themselves so much!! That makes me so happy and guilt-free as a previous stay-at-home now working parent. :)
Yes, we plan for L**** M****** to return again next year. (I know that E** will miss it, as she'll be off to middle school.)
