Description

PLEASE MAKE SURE TO CORRECTLY ENTER YOUR CHILD'S GRADE IN THE 2026-27 SCHOOL YEAR.

Alameda Arts @ Maya Lin follows the AUSD school calendar and will cover all regularly scheduled early dismissals (including 1/2 days) through the last Wednesday of the school year. You may pick your child up at any time; however, our program ends at 6 pm daily after which late pickup fees will apply. Students may not attend Alameda Arts on days that they were absent from school.

Alameda Arts @ Maya Lin will not be in session on days that students have no classes: non-student teacher work days, weekends, holidays, school closures, etc. Also, we will NOT be in session on the last day of school, Thursday, June 3, 2027.

Description

The art lab environment in our classrooms encourages the creative expressions of all children.  Students come directly to us after the school day has ended. They are greeted, checked-in, provided a healthy snack and given a choice of activity options for the day. 

 

Children in our program have access to varied art enrichment, academic support, both structured and free play time and opportunities to engage with friends and our staff.  They are able to choose their own activities and freely move about the indoor and outdoor spaces throughout the afternoon.  Our belief in the importance of play is the base of our joyful framework.

The following charges are assessed once for the entire duration of the program.

Non-refundable registration fee $190.00

Restrictions

Participants must be entering grades kindergarten.

Registration period

Registration starts on 03/01/2026 and ends on 05/31/2027.

Participants may register at any time during this period.
